About IRMA
Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) is an autonomous institution
with the mandate of contributing to professional management of rural organisations.
It was founded in 1979 at the initiative of the National Dairy Development
Board and, with the support of Government of India, Government of Gujarat
and Swiss Development Co-operation. Eversince inception IRMA has been working
closely with Co-operatives, NGOs, Governments, National and International
agencies.
IRMA Alumni Association
The graduates of the two year programme have an Alumni Association,
which maintains close contact with the Institute. The Alumni Association
maintains its own homepage on the net and has various chapters all around
the country and in some other parts of the world. The Alumni bring out
a bi-monthly newsletter CONTACT.
Hyderabad Chapter
The Hyderabad chapter of IAA meets every 2 months at IDRBT. Dr V P Gulati
(Director, IDRBT) is the host of the alumni meets. Hyderabad chapter has
approximately 50 alumni, of which 38
members have been regular participants for the alumni meets.
